Project Insight
Here is an insight into a few unique projects undertaken already, a little different from the norm….
Custom Desk
This client had changed jobs and would begin working from home. They wanted a space designed specifically for them where there was enough space for drawers and files, computer and paperwork but with a nice outlook and lots of natural light which was comfortable and practical to use. It had to tie in with the style of the house 9an old Victorian) so it didn’t look too out of place.
Building the desk into this bay window was the perfect choice, with an inframe construction and beautiful moulded shaker drawer panels and doors the look was completed with a natural solid oak top. Accompanying the desk behind was a cabinet for a printer and additional lever arch file storage.
Lean To
In addition to a new kitchen this client wanted to convert and old lean too into a utility space, with room for boots and coats and somewhere to sit to take their wellies off. Collaborating with an architect it was decided to knock down the old lean too and rebuild with a slightly larger footprint. Using a sliding door to provide more internal space.
It was finished in red cedarwood with a lead roof to comply with planning permission and a stunning addition to the side of the period property. Inside we gained enough space for sink and washing machine, with hidden boiler and seating space at the end of the run. A welly stand and pegs were also completed to finish the space.
